PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

A nominal 100 micron (4.0 mil) durable aluminum foil backing, combined with a high performance synthetic rubber-resin adhesive,, protected by an easy-release silicone release paper.

TYPICAL APPLICATIONS: This product can be used as a water proofing vapor barrier and air leakage protection. High reflectivity assures effective heat light interference and electrical isolation shielding. Excellent protection for masking operations in electroplating and paint stripping. 4.0 mil foil protects outdoor cable splices, metal patching and sound dampening applications.

SURFACE PREPARATION: It is essential, as with all pressure-sensitive tapes, that the surface to which the tape is applied must be clean, dry, free of grease, oil or other contaminants.

PRODUCT USE: It is essential that the user evaluate the BondTape product to determine whether it is fit for a particular purpose and user’s method of application. Good results will be obtained when applied to a clean, dry surface with a suitable pressure on BondTape products between +10 ~ +40°C (+50 ~ +105 °F).
